ASTROLOGY:
Welcome Winter...
December
9, 2004
By
Arlan Wise
This looks to be a hunker down at home type of winter. Youll
be happy with the comfort of hearth and home. Youll feel a tug
between the desire for safety and security and a wanderlust that keeps
you thinking of exotic far-away places. If you pull yourself away
from your routine, you can have some terrific foreign adventures,
and return to settle down. Its a winter to search out a new
direction that will end any domestic instability. Set down some new
roots.
Winter fun is found in group activities. Join a group to help encourage
your artistic pursuits. Join a book group. Get involved in a community
project. It looks like there will be benefits in traveling with a
group.
Saturn is the only retrograde planet as the winter starts. He sits
in the area of one-to-one relationships. This means that all relationships,
personal and business, still have old issues to be resolved. This
is an area that will need work and attention for the next three months.
It may be hard to start a new relationship this winter as people are
focused on the old ones. Security vs. freedom will be the major theme
in the serious talks youll have about the relationship.
Thursday, Dec. 16 Moon VC Aquarius, enters Pisces 12:24 pm.
Slow down and goof off. Do the basics and dont try to get much
of anything else done. Your mind will be active and going in many
different directions. You can focus and write checks to charities.
Do an act of service. Venus enters Sagittarius and the urge to play
and party returns.
Friday, Dec. 17 Moon in Pisces. You can wait one more workday
before you spend a lot of money or make a big decision. Its
hard to think straight today, dreams fill the air. If you do shop,
buy fish, aquarium gear, water sports equipment, spiritual books and
music. Make big donations to favorite charities. Donate toys to a
local fund. Meditate for a long time.
Saturday, Dec. 18 Moon in Pisces, VC from 11:40 am until 4:52
pm when it enters Aries. You can see that this is a bad day to shop.
Use the day to help others. Visit elderly friends. Make holiday gifts
and decorations. Take a rest during the midday. Your energy will pick
up in the evening.
Sunday, Dec. 19 Moon in Aries. Pick a project of your own design
to work on today. You can get a lot done, even finished, with todays
energy. Its a good day to wrap up projects and tasks, and gifts.
Make a list of the things you want to do in the next month. Youll
feel a need for excitement and a bit of naughtiness tonight.
Monday, Dec. 20 Moon in Aries. Mercury turned and started moving
in direct motion while you slept. Go online and do your shopping.
Sign the contracts; take the new job. You need to work on your own;
you wont have the patience to wait for someone to follow your
pace. Today is the last day of Autumn. Look back on the last three
months to see if youre moving in the right direction.
Tuesday, Dec. 21 Moon in Taurus. The sun enters Capricorn at 7:42
am and ushers in Winter 2004-05. This is a good shopping day; youll
be able to find the bargains. Your eye is sharp for value and you
can find the treasure in the tag sale. Shop for things that please
the senses: art, music, aromatherapy oils, velvet clothing, and gourmet
food.
Wednesday, Dec. 22 Moon in Taurus. Shop for the holiday food.
Bake or buy cookies and cakes. Make food baskets to give as gifts.
Donate to the food bank. Give out money gifts. Treat yourself to a
meal at your favorite restaurant. Forget your diet and start the celebrations
tonight. Have a sensuous evening.
Thursday, Dec. 23 Moon in Taurus, VC from 8:41 am until 11:32
am when it enters Gemini. Use the morning to clean and decorate. Once
the moon enters Gemini, youll be able to clear up the communication
mishaps that occurred over the past three weeks. Make those phone
calls youve put off.
Friday, Dec. 24 Moon in Gemini. Theres lots of energy
for the last-minute shoppers. Buy electronic items and communication
related gifts such as ipods and phone equipment. It should be an easy
travel day. People will feel like chatting with you while you wait
in line.
Saturday, Dec. 25 Moon in Gemini, VC from 8:30 am until 11:38
pm. Merry Christmas! Mars enters Sagittarius to lighten the energy
and make for lots of fun. The moon is void-of-course all day, making
today a true a true holiday, a day outside of time. Be sure to call
your loved ones who are far away.
Sunday, Dec. 26 Moon in Cancer. Its a day to be home for
the holidays. The full moon will bring out your feelings about home
and family. Enjoy going through your family rituals. Its a time
of high sentimentality and nostalgia. Spend the day sheltered from
the world. Cook and eat with your family of blood or family of the
heart.
Monday, Dec. 27 Moon in Cancer. It will be hard to leave home
to go to work. You need the comfortable connections. Saturn and Chiron
stand in opposition to remind you of where you hurt. You need to make
a plan as to how you will heal yourself of this wound. Its a
good day to work on expressing your dreams and trying to make them
a reality in your life.
Tuesday, Dec. 28 Moon VC Cancer, enters Leo 12:14 pm. Use the
morning VC time to clean. Wrap up the years work in preparation
for 2005. Give your workplace a homey feeling to make it warm and
cozy for the winter. Meet a friend for an early lunch. Theres
pleasure in discussing international affairs, travel plans, and philosophy.
Wednesday, Dec. 29 Moon in Leo. Its now party time. Begin
to celebrate the years end. Give gifts to those who you missed
last week. Take time to play with the childrens new toys. Work
on that writing project. Write a love letter. Think of ways to bring
more fun into your life.
Thursday, Dec. 30 Moon in Leo, VC 9:54 pm. This is a better night
for a party than tomorrow will be. Theres a lot of high spirits
and good feelings around. Theres a need for caution as Mars
is challenging Uranus, which raises everyones tension level.
Watch your temper, dont lose it. Stay alert and drive defensively
for the next few days. |
