Attorney Margot N. Parrot has opened a law office for the general

Ms. Parrot lives with her husband, artist Robert Osborne, daughter

in life, after careers in business and in journalism.

and of the Western New England College School of Law. She was recently
admitted to Western New England Colleges advanced law degree
program in estate planning and elder law, one of three such programs
in the country.

friends, has opened at 44 Main Street in Edgartown, behind Edgartown
Books. The shop offers hand-painted canvases, assorted fibers, a stitching
service, and a finishing service.
Spring hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm, and Sunday,
10 am to 2 pm.
Call 508-627-3959 to sign up for a beginners needlepoint class

Insurance agency changes name
The Gervais Insurance Agency on State Road in Vineyard Haven is now
the Tashmoo Insurance Agency. The business has a new name, but continues
to be owned by Joe and Carole Gervais. Mr. Gervais said that with
the Tashmoo overlook on State Road just a short walk from the office,
it seemed like the natural name. The office will continue to provide
a full range of services, including in-office license plate service.
For more information, call 508-693-4000. |
