Mansion House earns prestigious AAA rating

The Mansion House Inn, Health Club and Spa has earned the American Automobile Association’s (AAA) coveted Diamond Rating, according to a press release.

“Earning a Diamond Rating means that a property has undergone a rigorous evaluation process,” said Michael Petrone, director of AAA Tourism Information Development. “AAA’s Diamond Rating System is the most respected restaurant and lodging rating system in the industry. Having a Diamond Rating tells travelers and guests about the quality of facilities and services they can expect.”

“We are extremely pleased to have earned this award,” said Susie Goldstein who, with her husband Sherman, owns the Mansion House. “It is just three years since the fire and this award is recognition of all the hard work that goes into bringing back Mansion House.”

To be considered for AAA approval and rating, lodgings and restaurants undergo a thorough inspection by one of AAA’s 65 full-time professional evaluators. AAA first started listing accommodations information in its travel publications in the early 1900s when the original Mansion House was first mentioned.
