The Martha's Vineyard Times is a 29 year old, independent weekly newspaper with a print circulation that varies from 13,000 in the winter to 17,000 in the summer, when the island population swells with visitors. Each Thursday, The MV Times is delivered to every postal customer on the Island, delivered to most hotels and inns, and sold at newsstands and select retail outlets. The Times consists of three sections: a main News section, a Community section, and a Calendar section. The Calendar section, which focuses on arts, dining and cultural events on the Vineyard, is also circulated across the Island at tourist hot spots in-season. May through December, the Calendar section is inserted weekly into the Vineyard Visitor publication on the ferries, providing visitors with an up-to-date reference to plan their stay.
As advertising costs and choices continue to increase, The Times continues to provide advertisers with the most value for their dollars. No other publication or venue provides a more effective means of putting your message in front of Island visitors and seasonal and year round residents.

The Guide

The Guide is a new idea on Martha's Vineyard - a directory of arts, dining, lodging and shopping resources for Islanders, including seasonal residents and visitors. It will be published twice in 2013, for July and August, so its extensive calendar of events can be kept current and changes in advertiser messages can be accommodated. The Guide will be an elegantly designed, glossy 5X8 format, and distributed to locations such as lodgings, selected galleries and retailers, rental packages and major art and performance venues.
