Are new artists playing it safer?
Evan Fielder, co-owner Fielder, Fielder & Fielder Gallery: Most of our artists are established, but yes, I think in this economy, new artists are playing it safer. They need to make things that will sell; that's their work. At the same time, when they are at play, that is when they can do things that are more creative and fullfilling.
