It is just amazing to think of how far we have come technology wise. Recently my son and his family were on the Vineyard. I had them go into Oak Bluffs where I told them where the live Oak Bluffs webcam was located. I, here in Florida got to see my family live. My grandson who is 7 couldn’t figure out how I was watching what he was doing since I was in Florida. Each day the VH webcam opens on my computer and I can set the background depending if I want to see the ferry, the Shenandoah at anchor, or just a foggy day when I can picture the fog horn sounding from East & West Chop. These webcams keep us “Islander at Heart” connected until we come back home. I wish there was one downtown Edgartown during Christmas in Edgartown.
