Among the 4,498 women and girls to run the 2010 B.A.A. Half-Marathon Race Against Cancer in Boston, Sunday, were three from Martha's Vineyard.

First of the intrepid Islanders to finish was Liza Williamson of Oak Bluffs. Her time was 1:42:23. She was 629th. Suzanne Provost Flanders of West Tisbury was 3,023rd in 2:08:33. Maureen Best of Vineyard Haven completed the run in 2:13:21 in 3,212th place. The race began and ended at White Stadium in Franklin Park.
