Community: Looking back along the Heritage Trail An array of art work, research papers, original films, web sites, and other creative projects marked the exhibits at the annual African American Heritage Trail event at Martha's Vineyard Regional High School on Dec. 7. Despite wintry conditions on Wednesday, Jan. 5, a small group of enthusiastic diners turned out for the dinner at Faith Community Church in Katama. They were greeted by a hearty ham and bean dinner complete with fresh coleslaw and an array of tempting pastries for dessert. The community dinners take place at the church on the first Wednesday of each month, 6 to 7 pm, and will continue through May. Faith Community Church is on Meeting House Way in Edgartown. All are invited to enjoy the free meal and fellowship.
