OBITUARIES
January 20, 2005

Karen Fogg

Ms. Karen Fogg of Edgartown died at home on Jan. 18. She was loving wife of Leonard G. Fogg. Visiting hours will be held Friday, Jan. 21 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 56 Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road, Oak Bluffs.

Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 22, at 1 pm at The Kingdom Hall, State Road, West Tisbury. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Martha’s Vineyard, P.O. Box 2549, Oak Bluffs, MA 02557. A complete obituary will appear in a future edition of The Times.

Samuel P. Fuller


Samuel Pirie Fuller, 67, died on Dec. 25, 2004 of hypothermia after falling from his boat into Baltimore Harbor. He is survived by a daughter, Karin Tiffany, and a son, Samuel, both of Baltimore. He was predeceased by a son, Edward.

He was born in New York and spent childhood summers at West Chop where he developed a life- long love of sailing. He had just completed a solo sail on his beloved Rhodes from Chicago across the Great Lakes, the Erie Canal, the Hudson River to New York, then to Baltimore.

He was trained as an engineer and worked variously for Bethlehem Steel and Bechtel in the Baltimore area. Later he went into business on his own, developing real estate. Always attuned to computers, at the time of his death he ran an eBay site selling surplus materials.

He was the son of Julia Fuller of Vineyard Haven; and grandson of Samuel Fuller of West Chop, both of whom predeceased him. He also leaves a sister, Katherine Jaschke of Tallahassee, Fla.; a brother, James of Vineyard Haven; and many cousins including Constance Sanborn of Vineyard Haven.

Ronnie Ingraham

Ms. Ronnie Ingraham of Oak Bluffs died at Windemere Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Oak Bluffs on Jan. 16. She was 52. A memorial service for Ronnie will held at a later date to be announced.
