Light up Broadway
Broadway: The Golden Age is a labor of love from filmmaker
Rick McKay who interviewed more than 100 performers, composers,
and writers for his documentary. The film can be seen this Saturday
at 7:30 pm at the Tisbury School auditorium on W. William Street
in Vineyard Haven.
With no crew or budget, Mr. McKay set out to discover Broadway's
true golden age. Through interviews with stars and creators of some
of Broadway's finest shows, Mr. McKay presents a walk down memory
lane filled with anecdotes.
The blizzard cancelled the January showing of this film. Don't miss
it this time. Tickets are $6 or $4 for Martha's Vineyard Film Society
members.
Film festival opens soon
Mark you calendars. March 18 to 20 the Martha's Vineyard Independent
Film Festival will take place at the Chilmark Community Center on
