ASTROLOGY:
As the year ends...
March
10, 2005
By
Arlan Wise
We are now deep
into Pisces, the 12th sign, and the end of the zodiac. The yearly
cycle that began last March is winding down to a close. The theme
of the next two weeks is wrap it up, shut it down, bring it
to an end. The majority of this work will take place in the
segment of your birth chart where Pisces sits.
Mercury turns retrograde on the last day of Pisces, which is also
the last day of winter. This gives you a three-week extension if you
need it. Mercury moves from 14 degrees to 1 degree of Aries in this
retrograde phase. Mercury in Aries will be a review of issues about
your self, your self-esteem, and your impulsiveness. It is important
to slow down and think and rethink before you act. Mercury will be
in retrograde motion until April 12.
Saturn ends his long retrograde period on March 21 at 20 degrees of
Cancer. He will now move forward and exit the sign of Cancer in mid-July.
These next months will be a culmination of the responsibilities around
home and family that have been preoccupying you for the past two years.
Those who have planets in the last 10 degrees of Cancer now come before
Saturn's scrutiny.
Thursday, March 10 Moon in Pisces, VC from 11:44 am until 9:03
pm when it enters Aries. New moon in Pisces is a magical day. Listen
to spiritual music. Spend some time and effort to doing volunteer
work. Help someone who is in need. Visit an elderly friend or neighbor.
Help a sick or overwhelmed friend. Write a big check to the tsunami
fund. Meditate on the sea.
Friday, March 11 Moon in Aries. The moon shines on Mercury
and illuminates some important thoughts about yourself and your sense
of identity. It's a day to work on your own at your own pace. Initiate
big changes in your routine. Try out new ways of doing things. Get
a lot of exercise.
Saturday, March 12 Moon in Aries, VC 3:13 pm. Practice the sports
and outdoor activities you love but can't find time to do. Do what
you have wanted to do all zodiacal year but have been hesitant or
afraid to try. Today is a good day to face your fears. Challenge yourself
in some way.
Sunday, March 13 Moon in Taurus. It's a lazy Sunday. Sleep
late, read the papers, do your favorite Sunday things. Fill the day
with food and comfort. Keep the house full of music; your plants will
appreciate it. Give the pets and plants some extra attention. This
is sensuous energy; make love in the afternoon.
Monday, March 14 Moon in Taurus. The intensity you feel today
comes from the sun and Pluto squaring off to test you on feeling versus
knowing, emotions vs. mind. You will learn the truth of the matter.
It's a good day to secure your investments. You can stabilize your
relationship in a loving way. Shop for big-ticket items.
Tuesday March 15 Moon VC Taurus, enters Gemini 8:44 am. Today
and the next two days are the last good communication days for three
weeks. Take maximum advantage and get all your paperwork done. Make
the phone calls, clean out the inbox, and pay the bills. Do your online
shopping.
Wednesday, March 16 Moon in Gemini. Fix or discard your old
office equipment, phones, answering machines, and fax machines before
they break. Order your office supplies. Make appointments for the
car, the pets, the kids, yourself. Stay busy and work down your to-do
list. You'll be so happy you did it today rather than next week. Get
together with friends tonight and talk.
Thursday, March 17 Moon in Gemini, VC 2:19 pm until 7:44 pm
when it enters Cancer. Today is the last chance for clear communication.
Make good use of this energy. It will be easy to zip around and do
a lot of short tasks. Buy books; renew your magazine subscriptions.
Go home and get to bed early. You need the rest; it's going to be
a wild weekend.
Friday, March 18 Moon in Cancer. You'll feel emotional today,
old memories will rise up and things you see and hear will move you.
Pay attention to what brings the tears. It's an intense day for lovers
and those involved in a passionate connection. You will become closer
or split apart. Protect your money and valuables.
Saturday, March 19 Moon in Cancer. Mercury is motionless and
will turn direction at 7:15 pm. Today is the last day of Pisces, the
end of the zodiacal year. There are emotional and family issues that
must be brought to closure and there is no more time. Say those words,
make those phone calls, write that letter.
Sunday, March 20 Moon in Cancer, VC from 7:59 am to 8:17 am
when it enters Leo. The sun enters Aries at 7:34 am. Happy new zodiacal
year! Welcome spring! Mars, the ruler of Aries, moves into Aquarius
where he stirs up your thinking towards community and causes. Celebrate
spring and have some fun.
Monday, March 21 Moon in Leo. Saturn ends his retrograde period
and turns direct. Today is finals, the big exam on how you have handled
home and family issues. Saturn will let you know if you can move on
to your personal goals. Leo moon helps you stay upbeat and optimistic.
Find time to find joy.
Tuesday, March 22 Moon in Leo, VC from 9:20 am until 8:10 pm when
it enters Virgo. An all VC day in Leo is a day to play. Especially
during Mercury retrograde. Take a personal day. Cancel any very important
appointments. Venus enters Aries helping you to love yourself.
Wednesday, March 23 Moon in Virgo. Today and tomorrow are days
when you will get frustrated if you try to do your work in the usual
linear fashion. Things get bungled up and tasks will take more time
to finish. Mars and Chiron meet today for their annual inflammation
of your old wounds. You can get insight into the root cause of the
pain.
Thursday, March 24 Moon in Virgo, 7:36 pm. Go through your
surroundings and get rid of clutter. Discard what you don't wear,
recycle what others can use, reorganize your belongings. Go to you
to-do list and choose the little items on the bottom of the list.
Get the drudge stuff done. Simplify your life. |
