Happy
Birthday
Dr. Seuss

Tisbury librarian Martha Hubbell leads by example. Her joy

Is
there any better way to celebrate the birthday of a literary
legend then to read his stories? Dr. Seuss's books demand
to be read aloud, and that's just what happened at the West
Tisbury Public Library on March 7. The National Education
Association created Read Across America to celebrate the
great doctor's March 2 birthday, but the one-day celebration
has grown to include year-round events and programs that
promote reading.
