SHORTS March 10, 2005 Martha's Vineyard Peace Council Award Announcement The Martha's Vineyard Peace Council is accepting applications for one or more scholarships of $500 each. Our mission is to take a proactive stance towards creating and sustaining a culture of nonviolence. We provide a forum for a diverse group of committed people to share experiences and ideas, and to develop community initiatives that further peace as a primary human value. This award is for a resident of Martha's Vineyard who is a graduating senior with plans for further education.
