Vineyarders celebrate a bright Easter
March 31, 2005

Annabella Zannini is all smiles in her Easter bonnet at the Chilmark Community Church.

Chloe Combra pays close attention to her decorating project.

Bo Fehl along with granddaughter Daniella and grandson Khamisi Alexander raise their voices in song at the Chilmark church.

Youngsters participate enthusiastically in the Chilmark service. (From left) Luke Maynard, Mariah Campbell, Sunny Zannini, and Galen Mayhew.

Peter Burke, in his mother Karen's arms, holds a hefty Easter basket.
From church services with soaring hymns of praise and altars banked with lilies, to egg decorating parties and jolly egg hunts at private homes and neighborhood organizations, and brunches and dinners with friends and family, Islanders made the most of a brilliantly sunny Easter Sunday. It was a day of rejoicing for many reasons, not the least of which was the mild spring weather that drew many out for afternoon walks following more traditional festivities.
