ASTROLOGY:
Eclipse Season
April
14, 2005
By
Arlan Wise
This Eclipse season begins with the Solar Eclipse on April 8 at 19
degrees of Aries. A solar Eclipse indicates the beginning of something
new. Dramatic changes often occur before the eclipse, including extreme
weather and major disasters. In an individual life, this eclipse will
bring a focus on personal beginnings. It is an excellent time to launch
a new way of taking care of yourself. You will face your need for
independence. It is an excellent time to initiate serious self-examination
in order to learn more about your personality. Since the eclipse occurs
with Venus nearby, its effects will be softened. Venus adds grace
to the struggle. A contact from Saturn reminds you to do it the right
way and not cut corners. Wherever 19 degrees of Aries falls in your
chart indicates the place where you are approaching a new frontier.
It shows where you are ready to take a risk and move forward with
courage. A Lunar Eclipse will follow on April 24. The period between
these two eclipses is unstable. It will feel like walking on shaky
ground. Try to think before you act.
Thursday, April 14 Moon in Cancer. This is a fertile day in
many ways. It's the prime planting day of the month (along with tomorrow
and Saturday). The sun and Pluto give you a boost up in your process
of growth. They help you leave your old worn-out emotions behind.
Shop for food and kitchen tools.
Friday, April 15 Moon in Cancer. Venus enters her hometown
sign of Taurus where she finds it easy to be her lovely self and spread
beauty and pleasure. She helps you create security in love and money.
She wants you to garden and plant flowers. She will help you cook
a splendid meal for family and loved ones.
Saturday, April 16 Moon in Cancer, VC from 10:37 am until 5:17
pm when it enters Leo. Use the large VC period to do those home improvements
that are waiting to be done. It's a good day to play. Visit family,
walk by the water, and get a new pet. Leo moon illuminates an evening
of love and affection.
Sunday, April 17 Moon in Leo. Take this day for yourself and
shine. Let your creative side out to play. Don't let anything or anyone
hold you back today, but do be considerate of others. Smile at everyone
you encounter. Spend the day in the state of unconditional love. See
how happy it makes you feel.
Monday, April 18 Moon in Leo. This is the last day when fire
energy dominates. Take advantage of what fire offers: creativity,
courage, faith, vitality, optimism, and enthusiasm. This may be the
last day when you will feel free for a while. Life soon becomes prosaic
and practical. Friction between Venus and Chiron will stir up old
injuries received in previous relationships.
Tuesday, April 19 Moon in Virgo. The sun enters Taurus at 7:37
pm and we all come back to earth. The day is full of details and little
things to handle. You may want to do a clean up of the last month's
business. Finish up any personal business that's been hanging on.
Make lists for spring projects.
Wednesday, April 20 Moon in Virgo. This is a classic take-care-of-business
day. You'll see things with a down-to-earth eye and will be more apt
to use common sense. You'll see the flaws and how to fix them. Take
care of any health issues you have. Buy supplements for you and your
pets. Organize your garden tools.
Thursday, April 21 Moon VC Virgo, enters Libra 3:27 pm. It's a
catch-up day. Clean your desk and deal with all those little pieces
of paper. Recycle, change water filters, do all the less important
chores. Think back on what you learned during this past retrograde
Mercury. Relax with your loved one tonight.
