ASTROLOGY: Eclipse lunacy...
April 28, 2005

By Arlan Wise

The moon is eclipsed on April 24 in Scorpio, the sign of deep emotions. The eclipse will bring out our hidden desires and show how we handle power. Wherever four degrees of Scorpio falls in your chart, is where you can clear space for something new. Lunar eclipses are times of endings and chances to expunge negative emotions and all negativity from your life. Make a list of three attitudes or behaviors that you are willing to give up. Meditate on the day of the eclipse. Read the list out loud and burn the paper.

It will be of benefit to be still and look at where fear is keeping you trapped. Let clarity of mind heal your emotional distress. You can make big progress today in increasing your self-awareness.

Thursday, April 28 Moon in Capricorn. This is the day when you can finally get organized. You can take all the annoyances and distractions and discard them to produce greater efficiency. A Mercury-Jupiter connection gives you plenty of words to use. Do your writing projects today. Give a speech. You'll want to work long hours today to take advantage of this practical energy.

Friday, April 29
Moon in Capricorn, VC 6 pm. Today is another prime workday. You'll be able to get all your ducks in a row in preparation for summer. You can count on seeing the most pragmatic way of acting. Your common sense level is high. Finish what you started today even if your have to work overtime.

Saturday, April 30 Moon in Aquarius. Go outside your comfort zone today and experience something new and unusual. Check out community projects. This is a barren moon; do not plant. Mars enters Pisces and loses his aggressive edge. You will act with more compassion, but it will be harder to stand up for yourself.

Sunday, May 1 Moon in Aquarius. Today is the Celtic holiday of Beltane, the day of rituals that fertilize the fields for the summer's harvest. Let that be the metaphor for the day. Thoughts will be drifting through your mind all day; pay attention to them. Go on the Internet and research something you think to be bizarre.

Monday, May 2 Moon VC Aquarius, enters Pisces 10: 23 am. The day starts slowly then the energy picks up midmorning. You'll want to use your intuition and gut feelings when making decisions. It will be hard to say no. Add some volunteer work into your week. Find time to walk by the water. Meditate. Plant.

Tuesday, May 3 Moon in Pisces. You'll be distracted from work by Nature's beauty. Find time to take a walk and look at all spring growth. Plant, especially pond plants. Life feels stable today and you can work with patience and good judgment. It's a good time to show your loved one how much you care. Share your fantasies.

Wednesday, May 4
Moon VC Pisces, enters Aries 2:36 pm. The VC period is best spent on spiritual pursuits. If you need to be at work, do the minimum and try not to get things mixed up. The non-linear right brain is in charge for most of the day. Save the acts that require courage until the late afternoon and evening.

Thursday, May 5
Moon in Aries. This is the day of the week when you want to act. Do those things you've been putting off. Say those hard-to-say words. Follow your own timeline today. Everyone feels impatient, so watch your temper. Weed the garden, mow the lawn. Find a way to challenge yourself.
