Shorts May 19, 2005 Plan for our Island’s future This fall the Martha’s Vineyard Commission (MVC) will be coordinating a Comprehensive Island Planning process with the aim of answering the question of where are we headed. If you are interested in participating in various committees such as a Steering Committee, an Advisory Committee, or a task force contact the MVC and obtain a form. Join in fun on Saturday, May 21 between 9 am and 1 pm for an open house, free 30-minute workout, and a chance to win lots of prizes. “Opening Curves on Martha’s Vineyard has been such a positive experience for both my mother and me. The members are the ones that really have made this such a success,” said Sandie Burke-Gaudet, Curves franchise owner. The workout club is located on State Road, behind Radio Shack, in Vineyard Haven. |
