Congratulations to the following students who have received degrees from their colleges or universities.

Theodore DeBettencourt received a bachelor of science in management, cum laude, from Providence College. Theodore is from Oak Bluffs.

Alexandra Loud
received a bachelor of arts in English from Providence College. Alexandra is from Oak Bluffs.

Ryan E. Searle
received her masters of arts degree in criminal justice form Curry College. She is the daughter of Louise Searle and granddaughter of David and Sandra Searle, all of Tisbury.

Laura J. Beckman
received a bachelor of science degree in food service management, minor in international hospitality operations, and an associate degree in science for baking and pastry arts, magna cum laude, from Johnson and Wales University. She is the daughter of Donna Beckman of Oak Bluffs, and James Beckman of Edgartown.

Christopher Jones
received a masters in writing from the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poets at Naropa University. Christopher is the son of Tom and Joyce Dresser of Oak Bluffs.

Jill Dresser received a masters in science with distinction from Mercy College. Jill is the daughter of Tom and Joyce Dresser of Oak Bluffs.

Alisha E. Rogers, Oak Bluffs, received a bachelor of arts in environmental studies from Green Mountain College. Alisha is a member of the college’s honor program.


Congratulations to the following students who have been placed on the deanšs list at their colleges or universities for the spring 2005 term.

Jaimee Kallmann at Bay State College. Jaimee is in the physical therapy assistant program. She is the daughter of Alan and Sally Kallmann of Oak Bluffs.
