The Fabulists, every Saturday through Aug. 27, 10 am, Tisbury Ampitheater, State Rd. Tickets $6 (cash only), free for children under 2. Cancelled if raining at show time. Call 508-696-6300 or visit www.vineyardplayhouse.org.

A legend in action

Don’t miss folk legend Arlo Guthrie when he brings an all-star lineup to perform a benefit concert August 6 at the Tabernacle. Arlo will team up with his son Abe, along with Gordon Titcomb and Boston music group the Mammals for a performance that will benefit the Tabernacle Restoration and Program Funds. Tickets for the show will be available at the door, and can also be purchased at Bunch of Grapes Bookstore, Alley’s Store, Above Ground Records, Island Music Shop and the Cottage Museum Shop. Get your tickets now, as the show is sure to draw a sizeable crowd.

Arlo Guthrie, Sunday Aug. 6, 8 pm at the Tabernacle, Oak Bluffs. Tickets are $25 and $50 and are available at the door, or at www.mvcma.org, as well as at several Island businesses.
