Steven M. Borer
Dr. Steven Borer or Leominster, formally of West Tisbury, died unexpectedly on Feb. 17 in Wellington, Fla.

He was born on Sept. 12, 1947 in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of Harry and Edith Borer. After graduating from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa., he received his dentistry degree from New York University, specializing in Pedodontics. He had dental practices in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and Tisbury. He enjoyed helping children and adults, especially as a Hospice volunteer. Following retirement, he enjoyed traveling, painting, hiking, and reading historical novels.

He leaves behind his loving wife Carol of 38 years; his mother Edith and Larry Ginsberg of Coconut Creek, Fla.; his daughter Hali and her husband Joshua Black of Millbury; his son Daniel and his companion Caroline Bonnivier of North Adams; his sister Randi and her husband Rich Cosola of Wellington, Fla., his brother Jerry and wife MaryEllen Borer of Great Neck, N.Y.; his pride and joy grandson Jack Black and his faithful companion "Sammy."

Services were held at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, Boynton Beach, Fla., with Rabbi Bukaitz officiating. Memorial donations may be made in his name to Hospice of Martha's Vineyard, P.O. Box 2549, Oak Bluffs MA 02568.

Yvonne L. Healy
Yvonne L. Healy, 76, of Jacksonville, Fla,, died on Feb. 23. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 21, 1928 to Gordon and Delores DeWire. She was retired and enjoyed traveling, fishing, bingo, politics, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by son, Jerome S. Healy and his wife, Anne of Kingwood, Texas; daughters, Diane Hill and her husband, Jimmy of Middleburg, Fla., Deborah Healy of Vineyard Haven; sister, LaVern Wheeler and her husband John D. of Miami, Fla.; grandchildren, Kelsey Forend-Healy, Melissa, Christopher, and Stephen Healy, Amber and Chase Silver, and Nicole Hill. Memorial services will be held at a later date on Martha's Vineyard.
