Quilting talent on display
On Saturday, April 8, the Clark House in Vineyard Haven will host a Quilting Exhibition from 1 to 4 pm. The event is cosponsored by the Clark House and the Heath Hen Yarn and Quilt Shop. The show is an additional opportunity for quilters to display their work. Previously the only large show was at the annual Agricultural Fair in August.

The exhibition will be judged, with ribbons and prizes awarded. Both adults and children may enter quilts in this show. In addition to the exhibition, the Heath Hen will hold a quilting class on Saturday, April 8, from 3:30 to 7:30 pm.

It is free to enter your work in the show. Just drop off your quilt from 9 am on Wednesday, April 5, through 5 pm on Friday, April 7 to the Clark House, 20 Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road, near State Road, in Vineyard Haven.

For more information, call Lisa Rusche at 508-693-6550 or Lynn Benson at the Heath Hen at 508-693-6730.
