The Oak Bluffs Arts District stroll on Saturday, July 8, from 4 to 7 pm, invites visitors to view Periwinkle Studio's new clock designs, Pik-Nik's collection of Max Decker's paintings and Mercedes Nunez abstracts, Dragonfly Gallery's display of paintings by Adam Thompson and the constructions of Michele Dangelo, Lucinda Sheldon's studio of hand-crafted jewelry, and at the new Allison Shaw Gallery, an exhibit of award-winning photographs. Art at the barn

West Tisbury's own painter Kenneth Vincent, acclaimed photographer Alison Shaw, and Barry Rockwell open a show at the Granary Gallery at the Red Barn in West Tisbury with a reception Sunday, July 9, 5 to 7 pm. 508-693-0455.

African art

Don Lyons and Joni Merry will be showing the African art they brought back from Zimbabwe. The opening reception is Sunday, July 9 from 5 to 7 pm at Forget-Me-Not Antiques in West Tisbury. The stone and drift wood sculptures will be on sale throughout the summer.
