The Dr. Daniel Fisher House in Edgartown is the location for a unique show of photographs depicting musicians and groups from rock and rolls "Golden Era," the 1960s and 1970s. On Monday, photographers Peter Simon and Guy Webster hosted a reception celebrating their recent affiliation with the Morrison Hotel Gallery of Manhattan and La Jolla which features work by them and several other notable photographers. The reception was a festive affair with plenty of socializing, refreshments, and striking photographs. According to Mr. Simon, proceeds from Monday's sale of the work totaled some $20,000, a percentage of which will be donated to the Martha's Vineyard Preservation Trust. The show continues through July 8 from 10 am to 6 pm.
