Santa and his Island elves

Posted December 7, 2006

Among the many opportunities to enjoy the holidays on the Island, bake sales, church events, and Christmas tree lightings proved to be great fun this past week for those who attended. Christmas in Edgartown is coming up this weekend, along with many other events that can are listed in the Times' Directory of Information.

Santa sightings

Last Saturday, Dec. 2, Santa was spotted at two Island locations. He arrived Saturday morning and greeted many of his friends at the steamship terminal. Later he made his way to the MSPCA in Edgartown and posed for photos with his furry companions.
