Island Food Pantry usage is up by 10 percent this year, according to Leslie Frizzell, and the cupboards are dangerously low. The Martha's Vineyard Public Charter School students answered the call and held a food collection last Saturday at three locations. Canned goods, personal care items, and cash donations were taken at Cronig's Market in Vineyard Haven, Stop and Shop in Edgartown, and Reliable Market in Oak Bluffs.
