Pisces time...

By Arlan Wise - February 22, 2007

Pisces is last sign of the zodiac. It is a sensitive, psychic, mystical, service oriented sign. Pisces understands the interconnection of all life. It is a time to use your right brain's sensing of knowledge rather than the left-brain's figure-it-out method. Add in that we are in a Mercury retrograde period and about to experience two eclipses on the Pisces-Virgo axis and you'll see this is an unstable time. Let things slide for a while. Let go of your worries as you realize that real worth is found in the heart and not the pocketbook.

We are now in the year of the fire Pig in the Chinese zodiac. Pig years are thought to be times of conflict and natural disasters involving fire and water. It is said to be a good year for the economy. Pigs are seen to be lucky and Chinese try to have babies during Pig years for that reason.

Hang in there, Mercury goes into direct motion late at night on March 7.

Thursday, Feb. 22 Moon in Taurus. You can find a bargain in used items, so be sure to check the tag sales and thrift stores. The sun and Mercury meet today at the midpoint of this retrograde cycle. It's an idea day so be sure to write them down as they come to you. The information may come as feelings or images instead of thoughts.

Friday, Feb. 23 Moon in Taurus, VC from 2:47 pm until 5:42 pm when it enters Gemini. Start the weekend early if you can. You won't be able to get much done in the afternoon unless it's to do with cleaning up. It's an afternoon to take a nap.

You'll want to engage your mind with people or puzzles.

Saturday, Feb. 24 Moon in Gemini. It's hard to sit still today. You want to be traveling, visiting friends, going to the library, and making phone calls, all at the same time. You can get a lot of little jobs and errands done, but you don't have the patience for any tedious, time-consuming tasks. Get together with friends to talk tonight.

Sunday, Feb. 25, Moon in Gemini, VC 8:21 pm to 10:48 pm when it enters Cancer. Read the Sunday papers and discuss interesting items over brunch. Write a letter to the editor to state your views. Mars enters Aquarius and he uses that energy to urge you to champion a cause while being the eccentric you are. You'll notice that you and others are more stubborn. Remember tonight's dreams.

Monday, Feb. 26 Moon in Cancer. Use your intuition when making decisions. Those gut feelings are on the right track. Look ahead and do tomorrow's important work. Mercury backs up into Aquarius and you can redo and rethink what went on at the end of January. He will help you to change your opinion on some issues.

Tuesday, Feb. 27 Moon VC Cancer. The moon is void-of-course in an intuitive, emotional water sign while the sun is in sensitive and psychic Pisces during retrograde Mercury. It's going to be a strange day when nothing will turn out as intended. Float on the water, drift through the day. Anything you need to do you'll do better tomorrow.

Wednesday, Feb. 28 Moon in Leo. You have the energy to try to make it happen today. Use the intuitions and feelings you received yesterday to guide you in a more creative direction. It will be easy to put that knowledge in some artistic form. Saturn and Neptune are exactly opposite each other to push their message of balancing fact vs. fantasy, work energy vs. spiritual energy, you vs. the group.

Thursday, March 1. Moon in Leo. This very creative energy continues. Listen to your inner voice and forget the censor who says your work's not good enough. If you've worked long and hard hours on it, it will be. Take extra time to become a kid again and just play with children or your child-like friends. The work/play dilemma returns tonight.

Friday, March 2 Moon in Leo, VC from 2:02 pm until 4:32 pm when it enters Virgo. The energy is shaky as we approach the first eclipse of the month. Don't put anything in writing if you have any doubts about the commitment. Don't make promises you won't want to keep. Just have fun today and tonight.

Saturday, March 3 Moon in Virgo. Today's full moon is eclipsed. We'll feel it even if we can't see it as emotional tension in your mind and body. It's a time to sort out your work duties, your health needs, and get rid of what doesn't work for you. Let go of guilt. Uranus influences the eclipse and gives you an unexpected shock. Err towards the side of caution.

Sunday, March 4 Moon in Virgo. Things still feel unsettled and it's best to go into clean-up mode rather than try to initiate anything. Don't drive yourself nuts trying to get it all perfect. Make a list of what you can accomplish this week and another list of what you will do when Mercury goes direct.

Monday, March 5 Moon in Libra. The sun met Uranus early this morning and set the stage for anything to happen today. Forget sticking to a schedule and prepare to be thrown off course. Do try to remember last night's dreams as the meeting happened while you were sleeping. Be receptive to flashes of insight. Be careful and mindful in order to avoid accidents.

Tuesday, March 6 Moon in Libra. It's another hard to focus day. Spend your extra time and energy on enjoying the fine arts. You can do some minor redecorating to create better feng shui in your home and office. Search online for that new piece of furniture you want.

Wednesday, March 7 Moon in Libra, VC from 2:51 pm until 5:17 pm when it enters Scorpio. Mercury turns direct at 11:45 pm. He is motionless the whole day and it will feel like nothing you try to communicate is getting through. It's a good day to catch up with friends and acquaintances. Invite a friend for dinner.

Thursday, March 8 Moon in Scorpio. Now you can untangle all those mistakes. Venus and Jupiter dance together and ask you to join in by allowing beauty and love into your life. Be proactive and find a way to do so. These two benefits bring luck. Follow your hunch and place a bet. Make a move to expand your life outside of comfort zone.
