Jerri Wells, professional jazz singer, livened the Vineyard Assembly of God this past Sunday with her voice. Ms. Wells performed a tribute to Harriet Tubman through spirituals and various songs, in honor of Black History Month.
"It was really inspiring," said Pastor Heather Rogero. "We all really love Jerri."
A warm reception followed with pastries donated from The Black Dog Bakery. The performance benefited the many children's programs the Assembly offers.
