Celebrating women with unique, fun evening

The Island's chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW) held their annual Durgafest celebration. Celebrating Women's International History Month, Durgafest presented a number of performers on March 21 at the Portuguese American Club. This year, event proceeds went to help the Vanderlaske family of Oak Bluffs. Hannah Vanderlaske, a seventh-grader, has been fighting a long-running battle with leukemia.
