Cold weather kept egg seekers hopping last weekend, but it didn't keep the eggs from being found. Easter egg hunts Island-wide reported large numbers of bundled up children claiming eggs by the basketful.

The United Methodist Cooperative Parish invited children to hunt for eggs hidden around the Tabernacle in Oak Bluffs. Vineyard Gardens in West Tisbury hosted its annual hunt and once again it was a success. A popular egg-hunting destination has always been the Portuguese-American Club in Oak Bluffs and this year the hunt was as big as ever.

No matter how clever the Easter Bunny hides his eggs, he can't outsmart our children who are on his trail.
