The following students have been named to the Falmouth Academy Headmaster's List for the second trimester of the 2006-07 academic year.

Emily A. Diamond of Vineyard Haven has earned honors at Phillips Exeter Academy, Exeter, N.H. Emily is in the 12th grade.

The Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission's 50th anniversary celebration in April recognized two Island businesses and two Island employees for their community work. The Martha's Vineyard Hospital and the Martha's Vineyard Transit Authority were recognized for their exemplary work in the community.

David Lambert of the Martha's Vineyard Hospital and Colin Kennedy of the Martha's Vineyard Transit Authority were recognized as outstanding employees.

Karin Stanley, Polly Hill Arboretum's education and outreach administrator, earned her certificate in museum studies from Tufts University in Medford.
