Henley's Needlepoint in Edgartown teamed up with the Clark House B&B in Vineyard Haven and invited Islanders to bring their needlework to the inn for a little friendly competition. The result was a beautiful flood of stitchery. The artistry of the pieces was amazing. From the tiniest Christmas ornaments to large, framed pieces, the works were executed to perfection.

Judging was left to Donna Saiia of Stitchery Catalogue, the bible of needle-crafters everywhere. It was hard work selecting a winner, but in the end Bonnie George was awarded the top prize. Ms. Saiia's work continued in the afternoon when she taught a class in decorative needlepoint stitches.

There were many door prizes awarded to lucky visitors to the show. Start working now on your projects for next year's show.
