The folks at St. Andrew's Church in Edgartown believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so they put lots of effort into the annual May meal. Colorful napkins and table cloths, eggs cooked to order, warm muffins and donuts, and table service make this breakfast special. Volunteers, all cheerful in spite of the early start to their day, made everyone feel welcomed. The church has been hosting the annual event for more than 45 years. Money raised is donated to various Island charities. But "it's not about the money," said committee co-chair Amy Sullivan, it's about bringing the community together.
