The Island History Series on May 9 featured Albion Hart, a 99-year-old Oak Bluffs resident. He spoke on his 97 summers on the Island with such clarity and humor, and pleased the large audience at the Oak Bluffs library. The event was "standing room only" according to Renee Balter of the Oak Bluffs Historical Commission, who was very pleased with the turnout and the presentation itself.

The series continued with David Wilson last week, and David Madeiras about life on Circuit Avenue, last night. Linsey Lee will speak about the life of Dean K. Denniston on Wednesday, May 30. For more information, call Ms. Balter at 508-696-7643.
