David Crohan wowed the audience once again Sunday, this time at the Old Whaling Church at a benefit concert for the Community Solar Greenhouse of Martha's Vineyard (COMSOG). Accompanied his son Philip Crohan and Jon Zeeman on guitar and JoAnne Cassidy on vocals, Mr. Crohan performed numbers by Scott Joplin, Chopin's Sonata #3, and he added a tribute to arranger and pianist Duke Ellington.

Approximately $4,500 was raised after expenses according to Barbara Shriber, volunteer financial officer of COMSOG. "There were a ton of volunteers, and lots of contributions from the COMSOG members," said Ms. Shriber. "The wine was given by Chicama Vineyards, who donate boxes of wine every year. That's a big donation."

This was COMSOG's 24th annual concert, and Ms. Shriber is grateful for the amount of volunteer and donation support.
