The Chilmark School second and third grade students and teacher Jack Regan were grand prize winners of the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection's Green Team. The students encouraged recycling within the school and among schoolmates, and received the highest level Certificate of Recognition as "Environmental Eagles."
