Garry Hough III

A graveside service for Garry deNeuville Hough III, who died on August 17 in Orange City, Fla., will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 3 pm at his family's plot in the Oak Grove Cemetery on State Street in Vineyard Haven. Officiating will be the Rev. John Ames, retired minister of South Congregational Church in Springfield. Dr. Hough was a life-long resident of Longmeadow and maintained an orthopedic surgery practice in Springfield until his retirement in 1986. A celebration of Dr. Hough's life will follow at his daughter Alice Robinson's home in Vineyard Haven. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Health Volunteers Overseas - Orthopedics Overseas, 1900 L Street, NW, Suite 310, Washington, DC 20036. Edmond A. Botelho, Jr.

Edmond A. Botelho, Jr., age 54 of Falmouth, died unexpectedly on Sept. 16, at his home in E. Falmouth.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 am on Friday Sept. 21, at St. Anthony's Church, Rt. 28, in E. Falmouth. Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery. Visiting Hours will be Thursday, Sept. 20, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm in Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Avenue, at Rt. 151, Mashpee.

A benefit will be held at St. Anthony's Club, Brick Kiln Road, E. Falmouth, on Sunday, Sept. 23, at 1 pm. Memorial donations may be made to Edmond A. Alvin Lane

Alvin Lane, seasonal resident of Aquinnah, died on Sept. 13. There will be a memorial service today, Sept. 20, at the Harvard Club of New York City at 5 pm. An on-Island memorial service is being planned and information can be found in a future edition of The Times.
