Astrology - Meet the candidates...

By Arlan Wise - March 6, 2008

The astrology of this 2008 primary season is interesting. It is a clash of astrological generations as described by the sign that Pluto is in. Those born between the late 40s and late 50s (both Clintons, GW Bush, for example) have Pluto in Leo. This is the "do your own thing" generation that broke many of society's rules to express themselves. Pluto then entered Virgo to describe a group who's mission is service rather than self. They understand the concept of the public servant. Barack Obama is the first Pluto in Virgo presidential contender.

Hillary is a Scorpio. She is tough, calculating, emotional, and can be sneaky like a scorpion. Barack is a Leo. He is sunny, positive, regal, and can be powerful like a lion. Bill Clinton is a Leo and so Hillary is used to dealing with that type of male energy.

John McCain is a Virgo. He has Saturn near his sun right now and is working very hard. Saturn makes you tired and aware of your age. McCain is of an older Pluto group, he's born at the end of Pluto in Cancer, where home and family and security were uppermost in importance. Mike Huckabee is a younger Virgo with his Pluto in Leo.
