Granted
The Martha's Vineyard Cultural Council seeks funding proposals from organizations, schools, and individuals in areas in arts, sciences, and humanities. Last year, the council awarded grants to a range of recipients: the Aquinnah Cultural Center, Martha's Vineyard Chamber Music Society, and the Osprey Festival of Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary.
To help prepare proposals, the council is holding a grant-writing workshop on Friday, Sept. 19, at 7:30 pm at the Howes House. Applications are due by October 15. For guidelines, visit massculturalcouncil.org. For more information, email piapskov@yahoo.com.
