The overcast sky and light intermittent drizzle did not dampen the spirits of the folks who strolled along Circuit Avenue on Saturday during the 31st Annual Tivoli Day Fair. The old fashion family-style celebration sponsored by the Oak Bluffs Association included over 50 artists and vendors, a children's parade, family activities, food, and live music from 12 noon to 6 pm.

Event Chairman Dennis daRosa sounded pleased: "We had a terrific day, and a great crowd."

There was dancing in the street to The StingRays, Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish, and Phil daRosa. Smoke 'N' Bones, Linda Jean's, and Seasons provided such offerings as barbeque, crab cakes, and sushi. There were booths representing political groups as well as nonprofits. The Wheelmen, a group of antique bicyclists gave demonstrations of their throwback vehicles.

And as in past years, Millie Briggs was there displaying her art. This year, she is 94 years old.
