At the Edgartown Bridge Club on Feb. 9, two teams of four competed in a head-to-head match. The winning team included Sue Collinson, Bea Phear, Diane Drake, and Lolly Hand.

At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Feb. 10, six pairs competed. Finishing first overall were Barbara Silk and Bea Phear, followed by Barbara Besse and Sue Collinson in second place.

At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Feb. 12, six pairs competed. Sharing the win in a tie for first place were Anita Persson and her partner Gerry Averill, along with Bea Phear and her partner Barbara Silk.

The Edgartown Bridge Club did not hold a game on Feb. 2.

At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Feb. 3, five pairs competed. Finishing first overall were Michel Riel and David Donald, followed by Anita Persson and Gerry Averill in second.

At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Feb. 5, eight pairs completed. Finishing first were Dave Donald and Rich Colter, followed by Bea Phear and Barbara Silk in second, and Dan and Nancy Cabot in third.

The Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven was unable to hold its game on Jan. 27 due to the storm.

At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Jan. 29, eight pairs completed. Finishing first were Barbara Besse and Sue Collinson, followed by Diane Drake and Marianne Goldsmith in second, and Barbara Silk and Bea Phear in third.

At the Edgartown Bridge Club at the Yacht Club on Monday, Jan. 19, six pairs competed. Placing first overall were Kevin Carey and Carolyn Flynn, followed by Gerry Averill and Caroline Baum in second place.

At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Tuesday, Jan. 20, seven pairs competed. Finishing first were Gail Farrish and Barbara Besse, followed by Michel Riel and Dave Donald in second, and Warren Morse and Colleen Morse in third.

At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Jan. 22, seven pairs completed. Finishing first were Dave Donald and Rich Colter, followed by Bea Phear and Barbara Silk in second, and Gerry Averill and Simmy Denhart in third place.

At the Edgartown Bridge Club at the Yacht Club on Monday Jan. 12, seven pairs competed. Placing first overall were Diane Drake and Lolly Hand, followed by Bea Phear and Sue Collinson in second place, and Warren Morse and Gail Farrish in third.

The Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven did not report results for the Jan. 13 game.

At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Jan. 6, nine pairs competed.  Finishing first overall were Colleen Morris and Warren Morse, followed by Dan and Nancy Cabot in second, Michel Riel and Dave Donald in third, and Sue Collinson and Bob Iadicicco in fourth.

At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on Jan. 8, seven pairs completed. Finishing first were Barbara Besse and Sue Collinson, followed by Bea Phear and Barbara Silk in second, and Gerry Averill and Betty Brady in third.

At the Edgartown Bridge Club at the Edgartown Yacht Club on Monday, Dec. 29, six pairs competed. Placing first overall were Bea Phear and Sue Collinson, followed by Michael and Sandy Lindheimer in second place.

At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on Dec. 30, six pairs competed. Placing first overall were Michel Riel and Dave Donald, followed by Sue Collinson and Bob Iadicicco in second.

At Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury, celebrating the first day of the new year, five pairs competed. Tied for first place were Bea Phear and Barbara Silk, and Colleen Morris and Dave Donald.

At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on December 16,10 pairs competed. Finishing first overall were Bea Phear and Simmy Denhart, followed by Sandy Lindheimer and Barbara Besse in second, and Carol Whitmarsh and John O’Keefe in third. Tied for fourth place were Dan and Nancy Cabot and Warren Morse and Gail Farrish.

At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on December 18, eight pairs completed. Finishing first were Sandy and Michael Lindheimer, followed by Dave Donald and Rich Colter in second, and Dan and Nancy Cabot in third.

At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on December 9, seven pairs competed. Finishing first overall were Warren Morse and Gail Farrish, followed by Michel Riel and David Donald in second, and Colleen Morris and Art Spielvogel in third.

At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on December 11, eight pairs completed. Finishing first were Bea Phear and Barbara Silk. Tied for second place were three pairs — Dave Donald and Rich Colter, Caroline Baum and Cathy Minkiewicz, and Dan and Nancy Cabot.

At the Edgartown Bridge Club on December 1, five pairs competed.  Finishing in first place were Art Spielvogel and Bob Franklin, followed by Diana Dozier and Gerry Averill in second.

At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on December 2, seven pairs competed. Finishing first overall were Michel Riel and David Donald, followed by Colleen Morris and Art Spielvogel in second, and Bea Phear and Barbara Silk in third.

No game was held at the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on December 4.

Several Islanders attended the Watertown sectional tournament in November as well as the ACBL national tournament in Providence, following the Thanksgiving holiday.  Among those winning master points were Gail Farrish and Warren Morse in pair games. Joining Farrish and Morse for a regional knockout event in Providence were Joe Ashcroft and Mollie Whalen. The team placed second, providing Morse with his first gold points. Among other Islanders competing were David Donald, Sue Collinson, and Diana Dozier.
