Case No. 08 MISC 380607
To: Carter C. Borden and to all persons entitled to the benefit of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. Eastern Savings Bank, fsb. claiming to be the holder of a Mortgage covering real property in Tisbury, numbered 80 Midland Avenue given by Carter C. Borden to the plaintiff, dated September 28, 2007, recorded with the Dukes County Registry of Deeds at Book 1132, Page 592 has filed with said court a complaint for authority to foreclose said mortgage in the manner following: by entry and posession and exercise of power of sale.
If you are entitled to the benefits of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act as amended and you object to such foreclosure you or your attorney should file a written appearance and answer in said court at Boston on or before the 20th day of October, 2008 or you may be forever barred from claiming that such foreclosure is invalid under said act.

M.V. LAND BANK COMMISSION
The Martha's Vineyard land bank will conduct a public input session in order to solicit comment on future land acquisition priorities and any other matters which the public may wish to discuss. The session will take place at 5:00 pm on Monday, September 29, in the meeting room of the Vineyard Transit Authority office, located at 11 A Street in Edgartown, in the airport business park.

DRYDOCK AND OVERHAUL SERVICES FOR
THE M/V EAGLE
CONTRACT NO. 18-08
The Woods Hole, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority will accept sealed bids for the "Drydocking and Overhaul Services for the M/V Eagle" during regular business hours at the Steamship Authority's Procurement Office, located at its Woods Hole Terminal, Foot of Railroad Avenue, Woods Hole, MA 02543, until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, on Thursday, October 9, 2008, at which time and place they will be publicly opened.
The Contractor shall be responsible to dry-dock the M/V Eagle on or about December 17, 2008 and commence work immediately thereafter and complete all work not later than January 10, 2009 at which time the vessel will be delivered to the Steamship Authority.
Bid specifications may be obtained from the Steamship Authority's Procurement Office, telephone (508) 548-5011, extension 515, during regular business hours, Monday thru Friday, 8:30 a.m. till 4:30 p.m.
All bids submitted for the Contract must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a bid bond, or cash, or a certified check on, or a treasurer's or cashier's check issued by, a responsible bank or trust company, payable to the "Woods Hole, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority" in the name of which the contract for the work is to be executed. The amount of such bid deposit shall be five percent (5%) of the TOTAL CONTRACT PRICE set forth in the bid.
The Steamship Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or make the award with or without modifications and determined to be in the best interest of the Authority.
