CHILMARK
CONSERVATION COMMISSION

Will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 1:00 PM, in the Conference Room at Town Hall, under the Wetlands Protection Act, M.G.L.c.131, Section 40 and the Town's Wetlands Protection By-law, on a Notice of Intent filed by David Norton for the Blueberry Ridge Road Association. The applicant would like to upgrade failing utility lines that are buried under Blueberry Ridge Lane. The electric, communications lines and service will be upgraded and placed in conduit. The new lines will be buried in the traveled way of Blueberry Ridge Lane and Tiasquam River Lane. Portions of the work will take place within a buffer zone of two bordering vegetated wetlands and within the 200-foot buffer zone of an unnamed stream. The proposed activity will take place on Blueberry Ridge Lane; Assessors Map 8 Lot 70.
The application and plans are on file with the Conservation Commission, and may be examined during normal business hours (9-4:30) at the Town Offices. CHILMARK
CONSERVATION COMMISSION

Will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 1:10 PM, in the Conference Room at Town Hall, on a Request for Determination of Applicability of Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act M.G.L. c. 131 Section 40 filed by Chris Alley of Schofield, Barbini & Hoehn for Susan Davidson to install a well on a vacant 3.1-acre parcel. The well will be 50 feet from the edge of a bordering vegetated wetland. The work will be done on the property located off South Road; Assessors' Map 34 Lot 1.2.

CHILMARK PLANNING BOARD
PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to M.G.L.Ch.41 §81W, the Chilmark Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. at Chilmark Town Hall in the Selectmen's Meeting Room (upstairs) to consider an amendment to a previously approved Definitive Subdivision Plan (Form C) filed by High Meadow Realty Trust. The property is Assessor's Map 7 Parcel 21, 16+ acre parcel off Old Farm Road, Chilmark. The applicant proposes to rescind Notation 9. from the approved and filed subdivision plan, which reads, "There shall be no structures built within the view easement as shown on Lot 34."
Copies of the application and map are on file with the Chilmark Planning Board and may be inspected at Town Hall between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
