    New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC (AT&T)

    The Edgartown Planning Board will hold a continued public hearing on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 5:30 PM in the Edgartown Town Hall on the application of Anderson & Kreiger et al. on behalf of New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC (AT&T) for a special permit to construct, operate, license and maintain a Personal Wireless Service Facility (“PWSF”) on “Property” located at 14 Sampson Avenue, Edgartown, Massachusetts. The proposed site is located on a non-conforming lot within the R-120 Zoning District, on assessors’ parcel 34-197. The proposed PWSF includes without limitation a 115-foot monopole with antennas and associated radio communications equipment is a permanent solution to address a significant gap in the
    wireless network coverage in the Chappaquiddick area of Edgartown. The hearing is held in accordance with MGL Ch. 40A Section 9 and the Edgartown zoning bylaw under articles 11.6.; 11.9.e.; 17.5. and 23.3. A full copy of the plans may be reviewed from 9 AM-4 PM in the Planning Board office. Interested persons are urged to send comment and attend the hearing.

    REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS # AIR-18-23
    For the Lease of the Restaurant at the Katama Municipal Airfield

    The Town of Edgartown acting through the Katama Airfield Commission is soliciting proposals from interested, qualified parties for the lease of space to operate a restaurant in the building on the northern side of the property known as the Katama Airfield, located at 12 Mattakesett Way, Edgartown, MA 02539, as shown on Town of Edgartown’s Assessor’s Map ID: 45, Parcel 25. The area to be leased includes a one-story building, which has been utilized as a restaurant for over 25 years.
    A three (3) year initial lease term is being offered, commencing approximately April 15, 2018 with the option to renew the lease for up to five (5) additional three (3) year terms, for a total potential lease term of up to eighteen (18) years.
    This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B, Section 16 and all lease documents must be awarded in accordance with the requirements of this Request for Proposals and with said Chapter 30B, Section 16.
    Proposals must be received by the Procurement Office, Edgartown Town Hall, Third Floor, 70 Main St., P.O. Box 5158, Edgartown, MA 02539, by 12:00pm, Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Proposals must be submitted in two separately sealed envelopes, clearly marked “Technical Proposal, Ref AIR-18-23” and “Price Proposal, Ref AIR-18-23”. Proposers must submit hard copies and electronic versions of the proposals; faxed submissions will not be accepted.
    Price Proposals must be submitted on the Price Proposal Form attached to the RFP and separate from the technical proposal. No reference shall be made to pricing in the non-price technical proposal. Failure to adhere to this requirement will result in disqualification.
    Proposal packages may be obtained from the Procurement Office by calling 508-627-6185 or by emailing jmulinare@edgartown-ma.us from 9am-4pm, Monday-Friday.
    The Town of Edgartown reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive minor informalities or technical deficiencies or to allow the proposer to correct them, to modify or amend with the consent of the applicant any proposal prior to acceptance, to extend any deadline set forth in this Request for Proposals, or to cancel this Request for Proposals, in whole or in part, if it is in the best interest of the Town, in the Town’s sole discretion.
    No proposer may withdraw its proposal for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the opening thereof. The awarding authority is the Katama Airfield Commission. The successful proposer must be prepared to enter into a Lease agreement within twenty-one (21) days of the Selectmen’s meeting at which the winning Proposer is announced.
    Proposers are reminded that Town Officials will only answer questions in accordance with the procedure set forth in Part II of the Request for Proposals.
