Teams of female bishops proved too much for the ladies of the Vineyard, Saturday.
The Shamrock soccer team of Bishop Feehan scored seven times, despite the valiant efforts of MV goalie Jennie Lindland, while the depleted (injuries, illnesses) Vineyarders were unable to penetrate the Bishops' inner sanctum.
It wasn't much easier on the field hockey field where the Bishop Stang Spartans spoiled the Vineyard's second game in front of their Island fans, 4-0.
