Established in 2004, Crawford Design Associates is a small residential design firm dedicated to listening to client needs and designing thoughtful, quality, and energy efficient solutions for new homes, additions & renovations. Recent projects include a new home and guesthouse with garage in West Tisbury, a new seasonal home in Aquinnah, an affordable housing project in Tisbury, two substantial renovations and additions to homes on Chappaquiddick and in Oyster-Watcha, and many others, including guest houses, kitchens, garages, bathrooms, master bedroom suites, and other additions that make homes more comfortable and useful for the people who live in them. George Crawford has over 30 years experience in the design and construction industry. The last 18 years have been spent on the Vineyard, focusing on residential design that brings together the clients' needs and wants with sensitivity to the site, setting and environmental impact.
