The client wanted to create an unpretentious and timeless place, where family and friends could become immersed in an elemental part of island life.
The building is a quintessential "sweep it out the door" Vineyard cottage with spectacular views, revived from summers gone by and seemingly part of its landscape forever. We kept the furnishings simple to unobtrusively frame the views and underpin the iconic Menemsha setting.
