Sun-baked beach folk who needed a sweet fix were in for a treat Saturday afternoon at the First Congregational Church in West Tisbury. At the second of this summer's Ice Cream Festivals, church volunteers went through 10 tubs of ice cream, gallons of hot fudge, caramel syrup, and zillions of sprinkles to the delight of 502 visitors. Proceeds from the festivals help fund the church's many community service intiatives.
