The Martha’s Vineyard Horse Council held a dressage show Sunday at Arrowhead Farm in West Tisbury. The 16 riders competed in junior and senior divisions under nearly perfect conditions — bright sunshine and blue skies, with temperatures in the upper 70s.

Jen Rand rode Punctuate to the highest score of the day, 74 percent, in Training Level test 3. MVHC vice president Tracey Olsen entered classes with two different horses, Duke and Island-born Silhouette in the horse’s first show, ending the day with first place finishes in the Training Level 1 (65.4 percent), Intro A (71.8) and Intro B classes (71.8).

Other multiple winners included Caroline Hermann on Reina, 68.7 in Training Level 1 and 68 in Training Level 3; Bean Hiser on Merlin, 72.3 in both Intro A and Intro B; and Lillian Robinson on Danny Boy, 71.4 in Training Levels 1 and 3.

Also placing first were Maddy Alley on Shardon, 71 in Test of Choice 2-1; Paris Bermudes on Poppyfields Tiger Shark, 65.1 Training Level 2; Sydney Jasny on Screaming Hot Wings in Prix Caprilli; and Suzanne Modigliani on Irish Myth, 67 in First Level 1-3.
