A jewel in the crown of Vineyard art spaces, the two-story Christina Gallery sits at the corner of North Water and Winter streets of Edgartown amid downtown charm and gorgeous captains’ houses.
Now in its 37th year, the gallery specializes in traditional art, including Impressionism and Expressionism by contemporary artists, marine paintings by living masters, contemporary Sailors‘ Valentines, and works on paper by Renoir, Cassat, and others. Not forgetting regional passions, a center display abounds in antique maps and nautical charts form the mid 1800s. The gallery also features diverse works of 25 local and national artists.
The Christina Galley is open year round in the central part of town where the lights are always on.
