636 Old County Road
For more than half a century, the Island’s oldest and largest gallery has housed a unique collection of arts and antiques, representing a variety of artists.
Also known as The Red Barn, The Granary is home to a wealth of artists and mediums, from Ray Ellis’s Island paintings to Alfred Eisenstadt’s photographs, realism painter Steve Mills, to jewelry, lawn sculptures, and more. Many featured works captured are Vineyard-inspired and capture a distinct sense of the Island’s traditions and sights, such as light house and seascape paintings and local antiques. Upcoming returning artist exhibits will include the work of Island artists Alison Shaw, Don Wilks, and Bob Avakian.
The gallery is located along Old County Road and is open year-round.
